  1. Change the World Weekend

    You are invited to join the Change the World Weekend event on May 17-19, 2019. Over 40 churches, nonprofit organizations, and local businesses from Allen, Lucas, and Fairview will participate in a weekend dedicated to the mission of providing service and making an impact in our local community. Choose from a variety of community-wide projects that will be added to their website over the next few months. Change The World Weekend offers children, teens, and adults the opportunity to pay it forward right here in their home community with a variety of projects that serve others who are hungry, in need of clothing, seeking safe shelter, and longing for comfort.

  2. Free Community CPR Class

    May 18, 2019, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Allen Public Safety Training Facility

    Learn how to perform CPR on adults, children and infants in this free class led by Allen Fire Department. Participants will experience interactive videos and hands-on training created by the American Heart Association. This Family and Friends CPR class is meant to empower citizens to save the life of a friend, family member or stranger; it does NOT provide official CPR Certification. Classes are free, but participants must register. Open to ages 10 and up. (Parent/guardian must accompany students under age 00.)
