APL In-Person: Talking History - Prohibition in the United States

For ages 18 and up. Explore the fascinating history of Prohibition in the U.S. with Dr. Corye Perez Beene from the University of Texas at Arlington. Learn about the causes behind the movement, the advocates for and against banning alcohol, and the unintended consequences that led to its repeal in 1933.
