Animal Services is a division of the Allen Police Department which works to assist residents with issues related to pets, wildlife and livestock. Services include rabies prevention, animal bite investigation, education on responsible pet ownership, animal adoption, and care for stray and unwanted animals.

Modified Shelter Operations
Allen Animal Shelter is currently closed to the public, except by appointment. Patrons must call 214.509.4378 to schedule an appointment for adoptions, surrenders and other services.
