The Lone Star Conference makes its way to the Allen Event Center March 5 to March 8. In addition to great basketball action - there will be a College Night, Faith, Family and Fun Night, and the annual Fan Fest!
If you have students thinking about where they want to go to college, make sure to attend College Night as part of the Lone Star Conference on March 6 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. The event is geared towards Junior and Senior high school students who get in free with a valid student ID. Students will get the opportunity to speak directly with college representatives from Lone Star Conference universities about the college admissions process, applying for and securing financial aid, locations scholarships, grants and much more!
Friday night at Lone Star Conference will focus on Faith, Family and Fun and the program name says it all. On Friday, March 7, your ticket to the basketball fun also gets you access to lots of family friendly activities on the concourse.
Then on Saturday, March 8, show your school spirit at another family friendly event - Fan Fest! Starting at Noon and going until 3 p.m. in the parking lot just outside the Allen Community Ice Rink, your whole family will enjoy this party atmosphere, the 3rd Annual Mascot Challenge, and lots of free food, games and fun! (Fan Fest will take place rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be moved to the 1st floor of the South Parking Garage.)
