During the July 12 City Council meeting, Allen Parks and Recreation was celebrated for its achievements, state-of-the-art projects and award-winning employees and marketing campaigns.

The Board also recommended amendments to Parks and Recreation Fees, approval for standards of care for summer camps, and City Council adoption of the 2021-2031 Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan to guide the department’s efforts and funding into the next decade.
