With a Winter Weather Advisory in effect Wednesday morning through Thursday evening, the City of Allen is preparing for extended freezing temperatures and the potential for rain and sleet which may impact our area beginning Feb. 23.

- The Courses at Watters Creek: The Futures, Players and Traditions courses, short game area and putting green are closed Tuesday, Feb. 22 so staff can begin covering the greens. These amenities, including Grill 33, remain closed through Friday. The Clubhouse will stay open throughout the week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Road conditions and pre-treatment
The City of Allen gives priority attention to bridges, intersections and main thoroughfares when preparing for potentially icy conditions. The City does not have the resources to treat all residential/neighborhood streets during snow and ice events.
