New collection dates have been set for trash, recycling and bulk waste customers impacted by weather delays on Feb. 3-5.
Missed trash/lawn waste service from Feb. 3-4
Residential trash collection postponed from Feb. 3-4 will be picked up next week on the next scheduled trash day. Customers with Thursday and Friday collection days may place up to 5 extra bags of trash next to their carts for collection on Feb. 10-11. Bags should hold no more than 13 gallons and be sturdy, well-tied and weigh less than 30 pounds each; this will help keep bags from breaking when crews toss them into the trash truck. Please place bags at least 2 feet away from trash/recycling carts so they are not disturbed by the truck's automated grabber arm.
Typical quantities of compost/bagged lawn waste will also be collected at this time.
Missed recycling service from Feb. 3-4
Residential recycling collection postponed from Feb. 3-4 will be picked up on the next scheduled recycling days: February 17 (for Thursday Cycle A customers) and February 18 (for Friday Cycle A customers). If you can’t wait that long, you may add items to your trash bins or extra bags for landfill disposal on Feb. 10-11. Beginning Monday, Feb. 7, customers may also bring recyclable items to the CWD container temporarily located at 2 Butler Drive. This D-I-Y recycling drop-off will be available beginning 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 7. Customers can drop off recyclable items daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. until Friday, Feb. 11.
Bulk waste service rescheduled for Feb. 5
Bulk waste collection for Saturday, Feb. 5 will be postponed to the following Saturday, Feb. 12. No changes are expected to future bulk waste collection dates.
Scheduled loose brush collection
Scheduled loose brush collection will proceed as planned on Feb. 9. Review service guidelines before scheduling.
