Allen Animal Services joins a monthlong Clear the Shelters initiative with adoption specials, discount pet services, educational events and more. Be sure to mark your calendar for free pet adoptions Sept. 13-19!

Animal Services events and appearances

  • Aug. 27 – Carter BloodCare Drive: Donors receive a voucher for half-price pet adoption (good for 3 months)
  • Sept. 6-12 – Check the Chip Event: Bring your pets to check their microchip! Confirm the chip is still active, update contact information or take advantage of half-price microchips ($10). Services for Allen residents only.
  • Sept. 13-19 – Clear the Shelters at Allen Animal Services: FREE pet adoptions. If you find a fur-ever family member at our shelter, we’d love to see your first photos! Follow and tag us on Instagram using #ClearTheSheltersAllen
  • Sept. 18 – Fall Festival at Allen Public Library: FREE pet adoptions
