[ARCHIVED] Residential trash, recycling services to resume Monday, Feb. 22

Snowflakes swirling around a caution sign. Text reads "Service Alert"

Due to continued adverse road conditions, all residential trash and recycling collection is canceled for the week of Feb. 15-20 and will resume Monday, Feb. 22 with the following changes:

  • Bulk trash collection canceled for Saturday, Feb. 20. Customers with previously scheduled pickups will be notified. See bulk trash collection for more information.
  • Customers may place up to 5 additional bags of trash in strong, tied bags near the side of their trash cart for collection. Do not place bags on top of cart lid and make sure cart lid fully closes.
  • All recycling routes will be collected next week, regardless of your assigned recycling cycle/schedule.

Trash/recycling carts and additional bags should be set out by 7 a.m. on your assigned collection day. Routes may take longer to service due to higher volume. CWD will work as long as possible each day to complete routes.

The NTMWD Transfer Station on the corner of Custer Road and Ridgeview Drive is now open for residential trash drop off if needed. It has been sanded and has good mobility for those that wish to visit.
