TexShare Databases - The TexShare Databases are e-resources licensed for the exclusive use of Texas libraries and their patrons.  Start with TexShare for homework help, health or business information, academic journals, popular magazines, genealogy, or job and career development.  Contact the Reference Desk at 214.509.4905 for login information.

Learning Express Library - Organized into targeted learning centers, this e-resource supports those looking to improve core academic skills, pass the GED, prepare for college, join the military, obtain occupational certification, find a job, become a U.S. citizen and much more.  (A user name and password from the library is not needed to use this resource.  You will create your own.)

cloudLibrary - Use cloudLibrary to access eBooks and eAudiobooks from anywhere with your Allen Public Library card.  Please visit our Digital Library page and go to Ebooks & eAudiobooks to get started.  Don't have a library card?  No problem!  Texas residents ages five and older can register to receive a temporary library card number.   Temporary card numbers are good for one month.  You must come into the Library to pick up your permanent card in order to continue access.  (Children under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign for them.)

Tumblebook Library - An online collection of animated, talking picture books.  Teach kids the joy of reading in a format they'll love!  Categories include story books, nonfiction, language learning and more.
