Allen City Council approved an expansion to the existing Chick-fil-A site located at 350 E. Stacy Road.
The proposed expansion includes a 300-square-foot addition to the existing building as well as new metal canopies. Modifications to the site include the modification of a dual drive-thru lane to create more efficiencies and to improve traffic flow for drive-thru service. Plans also include a deceleration right-turn lane at the entrance along Stacy Road. The lane will serve to mitigate traffic concerns on Stacy Road caused by the existing development.
City Council held a public hearing and subsequently approved a Specific Use Permit required for the building modification.
