Join us to thank local veterans with a virtual tribute, unique history lesson and socially-distanced celebration on November 11. 

Veterans Day Drive-Though Celebration 

Join Allen Senior Recreation Center in celebrating veterans in a special drive-through event on Wednesday, November 11 from 10-11 a.m. Bring flags or handmade signs of thanks, then line the socially-distanced drive-through route to show your support for those who served. Details. 

Veterans Day Live On Stage @ APL 

Hear featured speakers from two generations, including a Nazi concentration camp liberator and a Vietnam War hero. Viewers may submit questions until 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 11 by emailing liveonstage@cityofallen.org. Recommended for ages 18+. Details. 

Virtual Tour of Allen Historic Cemetery 

Learn about the local veterans buried at Allen Historic Cemetery by taking a virtual tour created by City of Allen GIS staff.
