Many City of Allen facilities will close or observe limited hours during the Independence Day holiday. For questions about facilities not listed below, please contact the facility directly.

• Allen Animal Shelter: Closed Thursday, July 4
• Allen Community Ice Rink: Open July 4; open skate from 12:45-3:15 p.m.
• Allen Public Library: Closed Thursday, July 4. No materials due while closed.
• Allen Senior Recreation Center: Closed Thursday, July 4
• City of Allen Municipal Complex (including Municipal Court): Closed Thursday, July 4
• The Courses at Watters Creek: Closing at 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 4
• Don Rodenbaugh Natatorium: Closed Thursday, July 4
• The Edge Visitor Center: Closed July 4; skate park open 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
• Ford Pool: Open 1-6 p.m. on July 4
• Joe Farmer Recreation Center: Closed Thursday, July 4

Community Waste Disposal will not pick up trash or recycling on Thursday, July 4. Collection will slide one day, ending with Friday’s trash and recycling routes being collected on Saturday, July 6.
