Several City of Allen facilities will be closed or have modified hours in observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 27.

• Allen City Hall: Closed Monday, May 27
• Allen Animal Shelter: Closed Monday, May 27
• Municipal Court: Closed Monday, May 27
• Allen Public Library: Closed Sunday, May 26 and Monday, May 27
• Allen Community Ice Rink: Open Memorial Day
• Allen Senior Recreation Center: Closed Monday, May 27
• Don Rodenbaugh Natatorium: Open 1-6 p.m. on Monday, May 27
• Ford Pool: Open 1-6 p.m. on Monday, May 27
• Joe Farmer Recreation Center: Closed Monday, May 27
• The Courses at Watters Creek: Normal hours (Weekend/holiday rates apply.)

Community Waste Disposal will not pick up trash or recycling on Monday, May 27. Collection will slide one day, ending with Friday’s trash and recycling routes being collected on Saturday, June 1. All North Texas Municipal Water District solid waste facilities will be closed on Monday, May 27 and reopen on Tuesday, May 28.
