[ARCHIVED] Joe Farmer Recreation Center Bridge Closures

Bridge Replacement at Joe Farmer Recreation Center

The north and south bridges at Joe Farmer Recreation Center are being replaced, resulting in temporary bridge closures.

Demolition will begin on the facility’s north bridge the week of April 2. During construction, the north entrance to Joe Farmer Recreation Center will be closed, along with a portion of the outdoor amphitheater.

The north bridge is scheduled to be completed in June, weather-permitting. Immediately upon completion of the north bridge, demolition will begin on Joe Farmer Recreation Center’s south bridge, which is scheduled to be completed in July.

While the south bridge is being constructed, the south entrance to Joe Farmer Recreation Center will be closed.

Throughout construction of both bridges, there may be disruption to the first and ninth holes on the Bethany Lakes Park disc golf course.

Updates will be posted here during the construction process. For any questions, please contact Joe Farmer Recreation Center at 214.509.4750.
