[ARCHIVED] Election Reminders for November 7

election

Allen voters will be asked to vote “for” or “against” seven proposed constitutional amendments during the November 7 election. A generic sample ballot, which includes wording for proposed amendments along with ballot issues for 11 jurisdictions outside of Allen, is available here.

Tuesday, October 10 is the last day to register to vote or change your address before the November election. View voter qualifications and registration instructions.

Early voting runs October 23 through November 3. See the early voting calendar for times and polling locations. Voters may cast their ballot at any Collin County voting location, including two in Allen: Allen Municipal Court (301 Century Parkway) and the Lovejoy ISD Administration Building (259 Country Club Road).

Voters who will be absent from Collin County during both the early voting period and on election day may request an absentee ballot. By-mail voting is also available to voters who are 65 years of age or older, have a disability, or are confined in jail and not convicted of a felony. Early voting applications must be received by Friday, October 27. Instructions are available on the Collin County elections website.

Voting centers will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on election day, November 7. See the list of locations, including five in Allen.
