Compete in an indoor triathlon at Don Rodenbaugh Natatorium!
The City of Allen Sprint Triathlon begins at 6 a.m. on March 5 and includes swimming in the competition pool, cycling on a stationary bike and running on a treadmill.
Divided in two segments, the intermediate level will compete for ten minutes in each event while the advanced level will have 15 minutes per event. For both segments, the allotted time for transitions between each event is five minutes.
The cost of the event is $25 for individuals and $45 for teams ($15 per person), and registration closes at 8 p.m. on February 17.
There is no packet pick-up, and participants must arrive no later than 30 minutes before their heat begins to pick up a bib number and set up clothes and other items for transitions between events.
All participants will be rewarded with a t-shirt and finisher medal!
