For Adults only.  Adult LitBox requires pre-registration online for each LitBox.

When registering for Adult LitBox, please note the following:

• The participant must be age 18 or older. Adult LitBox is designated for our adult patrons based on the books' content.
• Duplicate registrations with the same name will be deleted.
• Pickup will be available during the date range in the description. LitBoxes unclaimed after the scheduled pickup week will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Oct/Nov Adult LitBox
Theme: Fall Fiction
Registration begins Sat, Oct 21
For ages 18 and up.
Pick up Sunday, Nov 12- Saturday, Nov 18
Each Adult LitBox will contain 1-2 library books selected by a librarian for you to check out, read, and return, as well as treats and surprises based on the theme.  October/November's theme is Fall Fiction, featuring books set during fall or having fall vibes.

Jan/Feb Adult LitBox
Theme: Debut Authors
Registration begins Sat, Jan 20
For ages 18 and up.
Pick up Sunday, Feb 18- Saturday, Feb 23
Each Adult LitBox will contain 1-2 library books selected by a librarian for you to check out, read, and return, as well as treats and surprises based on the theme.  January/February's theme is Debut Authors featuring new authors or an author's first book.

LitBox FAQs

How do I pick up my box?

Pick up your box at the Information Desk. Remember to bring your Library card! Check out your whole box at the Express Check-Out machine (we can show you how). Books are returned normally. The rest of the items in the box are yours to keep.

Do I need a Library card to participate?

Yes, you will need a library card in good standing. Since the books inside the box are library books, you'll need to check the books out and return them on time.

How do you choose the books?

Book selections correlate to the LitBox monthly theme. When you register, you can tell us what genres you typically read, but our hope is to surprise and delight you!

What if I don't like this month's theme?

If you don't like the theme one month, skip it and check back for the next month.
