Activities

For teens going into grades 7 - 12, ages 12 - 18 only.

Join us for our 8th annual after-hours Con! Celebrate anime, comics, movies, TV, and other fandoms with cosplay, crafts, trivia, and more. There are also two Japanese mini-lessons available (limited spaces available via online registration). Presented by the Japan-America Society of DFW.

Our rules and expectations are outlined in our Parental Consent Form, but basically we ask that all teens respect the presenters, volunteers, staff, and other attendees. Any teens acting disrespectfully or breaking rules will be sent home.

We close and lock the Library doors at 7:30 p.m. We will not open them for latecomers. If you leave the Library building after the Con starts you cannot come back into the building. This is for the safety of the other attendees.

Please print and fill out the Parental Consent form, then bring it to the library before or on the day of the Con. You can also grab a form at the Children's Desk at the Allen Public Library. The staff would prefer you bring your form the day of the Con.
