COVID-19 Operational Changes

Effective March 10, 2021 - The City of Allen is working to safety expand services and reopen facilities impacted by changes related to COVID-19.  Opening dates for some facilities are yet to be determined (TBD). Visitors are strongly encouraged to wear face coverings and follow all other CDC guidelines when visiting any City facility.

City and county governments are restricted from creating or enforcing localized mask mandates in place of the statewide order which ends on March 10. Individual businesses and other entities may set and enforce their own COVID-19 protocols and may refuse service to customers who do not comply.

The City of Allen is committed to helping everyone access City services, and will not turn away any visitor as we continue doing our part to keep COVID-19 cases in decline. We will also continue virtual and contact-free options such as library curbside pickup, online bill pay, online ticket/fine payment, virtual inspections and other services to support our community.

Weekly COVID-19 data will continue to be posted at to support residents and businesses as they make choices regarding the safety of themselves and their patrons.
