Allen Wins Gold Medal Award for Parks and Recreation



The American Academy for Park and Recreation Administration (AAPRA), in partnership with the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA), announced Allen Parks & Recreation as the winner for the 2016 National Gold Medal Award for Excellence in Park and Recreation Management.

Citizen Assistance for Recreation Experiences (C.A.R.E.)

The City of Allen Parks and Recreation Department offers financial assistance for Allen residents. Financial assistance is available for recreational programs, classes and memberships offered at Joe Farmer Recreation Center, Don Rodenbaugh Natatorium, The Edge Visitor Center, Senior Recreation Center and athletic programs.
