The Edge

One of the largest skate parks in Texas, The Edge offers thrilling experiences for anyone with a skateboard, scooter, skates or BMX bike. In addition to outdoor skate park areas, The Edge is home to an indoor facility open to ages 10-17 with foosball and pool tables, video gaming systems and a snack bar. Access to the facility and skate park are free, with payment required for some programs and camps.

The Edge is now a cashless recreation facility. Merchandise as well as food and beverage concessions are available for purchase with Apple Pay, Google Pay and all major credit cards.

In-Line Hockey Rink

For BMX-style bikes only. No pegs allowed. Battery-powered Remote Control Vehicles are permitted in this area. Gas powered vehicles not allowed. Review rules before visiting.

Skate Park Rules

Please report any park issues to The Edge by calling 214.509.4760. In an emergency, call 9-1-1.
  • This park is for skateboards, skates and BMX freestyle bikes (with covered pegs) only; other equipment must be approved before use.
  • Protective gear such as helmets and knee/elbow/wrist pads are strongly recommended
  • Inspect the park before using; don't use when conditions are wet, icy or hazardous
  • Look before you go! Don't drop in on others. Wait your turn.
  • Check bad behaviors at the gate, including foul language, tobacco and alcohol use - or anything else that might get you in trouble
  • Graffiti = park closed! Report anyone who does something to close your park!
  • Extra ramps and jumps aren't allowed - and in a place like this, you don't need them!
  • For younger users: Make sure the adult who brought you stays with you.

Liability Notice

Know your abilities and use this facility at your own risk! Texas Law Chapter 75, Civil Practices and Remedies Code limits the liability of a municipality that owns, operates or maintains a facility in which hockey, in-line hockey, skating, in-line skating, roller-skating, skateboarding or rollerblading are conducted for damages arising directly from such recreational activities.

Parties & Rentals

Whether you're planning a birthday party, youth event or extreme sports tournament, The Edge offers a variety of rental options to provide the perfect fit for your needs.

  • Lobby: 1,600 square feet of casual gathering space featuring a sofa and lounge chairs, tables with seating, a pool table and two foosball tables.
  • Activity Rooms: Choose between rooms or rent them both! One room features an open, carpeted space. The other contains five TVs and gaming systems (Xbox and PlayStation), ten lounge chairs and two gaming chairs.
  • Hockey Rinks: Two full-size in-line hockey rinks, lighted and suitable for youth and adult play. Rinks may be rented together or separately.
  • Skate Park: Full use of all 37,915 square feet of street fixtures, bowls and transitions along with restroom facility access.
