As the umbrella organization for many of the arts in the Allen community, the Allen Arts Alliance promotes, nurtures, and celebrates the arts through interactive participation with schools, civic organizations, businesses and citizens. The Allen Arts Alliance encompasses member organizations such as Allen Civic Ballet, Allen Heritage Guild, Allen Philharmonic Orchestra and Symphony Chorus, Allen Art to Go, Cross Timbers Youth Orchestra, the Visual Arts League of Allen, and more.
The Allen Quilters' Guild is a 501(c)(3) organization, promoting the knowledge of all aspects of quilting including the heritage, education, art and friendship of quilting with meetings held the 3rd Thursday of each month at the First Presbyterian Church of Allen.
The Arts of Collin County is a nationally recognized, innovative, public-private partnership developing a 100+ acre arts park. Co-owned by the cities of Allen, Frisco and Plano, with operational support by member cities, Fairview and Melissa, the arts park is located at Sam Rayburn Tollway and Custer Road, and will be completed in phases, with a 2,100-seat performing arts hall, performance meadow, and hike and bike trails included in Phase One.
