Kids Groups Writers Alliance for Kids (W.A.K.) A group where kids ages 10-12 can share their writings and get feedback. Contact: Rachel Walton wakinfo@verizon.net Die cutting machine available for use in
library by the public (age 14 & up). Please review our Children's Department Computer Usage Guidelines. Parents are responsible for their children's behavior while in the library. Parents or a parent-designated caregiver, age sixteen (16) or older, shall accompany children under age nine (9) in the library. Allen Public Library offers a wide variety of programs for children, including a Summer Reading Club, movies, puppet shows, library tours, a Teen Volunteer Program, crafts and guest performances. Allen Public Library strives to provide access to programs and special accommodations for those with disabilities.
