H2Ome Improvement Rebate Program
Funds Are Available for Rebates
The City of Allen wants to help you conserve water by offering the H2Ome Improvement Rebate Program. Check back often for new rebate offerings. Rebate offerings are subject to yearly budget restraints and can be put on hold if budget is consumed.
The following is a list of current rebates offered through the City of Allen. You must be a resident of Allen with water service and your water account must be current. Qualified rebates are credited to water bill.
NEW - SMART Irrigation Technology Equipment
A rebate of 50 percent of the cost up to a maximum of $125 for installation of qualifying SMART irrigation technology equipment is available.
The cost may include installation hardware, and installation costs incurred by a licensed irrigator. See the

Pressure Reducing Valve
Only a licensed plumber that is registered in the City of Allen can install a Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) for your home. A rebate of up to $125 is available to eligible residents who install a PRV to reduce the pressure to their home to a set amount.
Eligible homes must have a water pressure over 80psi according to the city map. See the

Rain & Freeze Sensor
A rebate of up to $50 is available for installing a
qualifying rain and freeze sensor on your established irrigation system that was installed prior to November 1, 2004.
All new irrigation systems are required by ordinance to be equipped - no rebate is available for new irrigation system installations. For more information, see the

Rain Barrel
A rebate of up to $25 each for up to two rain barrels is available through the H2Ome Improvement Rebate Program.

Low-Flow Toilet
Through the H2Ome Improvement Rebate Program, Allen residents can receive up to $100 for replacing and existing high volume toilet with a new WaterSense labeled toilet.

Water-Efficient Washing Machines
The H2Ome Improvement Rebate Program offers $75, $100 or $125 to residents that purchase
qualifying water efficient clothes washer.
