About the Allen Fire Department
The Allen Fire Department consists of a Central Fire Station and four sub-stations. A fourth sub-station or Station #5, approved by voters in the 2007 Capital Improvement Bond Election, opened January 2012. The station is a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified facility.

Chief Hawley also works closely with the City Council and City Manager regarding departmental items placed on the Council agenda and for strategic planning initiatives.
