Holiday Schedule
Regular service is suspended on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Service resumes the day after the holiday with each route serviced a day later than usual. Friday's route will be picked up on Saturday.

Excess Holiday Trash Bag Collection
Community Waste Disposal (CWD) will collect up to five bags of excess holiday waste immediately following the Christmas holiday. Bags must be placed at your collection point by 7 a.m. on your designated collection day. Keep them at least two feet away from trash carts.

Christmas Trees
CWD will collect clean, natural Christmas trees from resident's collection point for two weeks, beginning December 26. Residents must remove stands and ALL ornaments, including tinsel. Trees will be composted. Place trees at least two feet from all obstacles, including trash and recycling carts. Trees taller than 6 feet in height MUST be trimmed in two sections.

D-I-Y Christmas Tree Compost/Disposal Option
Clean, natural trees may be taken to the Texas Pure Products Wood Grinding Facility for composting. The facility is located at the Custer Road Transfer Station (9901 Custer Road). Residents must present current water bill & driver's license (addresses on both documents must match).

Flocked trees cannot be composted; these must be transported to the Custer Road Transfer Station located at 9901 Custer Rd, (phone: 972.727.6341) for disposal. Residents must present current water bill & driver's license (addresses on both documents must match).
