Allen Garden Club
The Allen Garden Club seeks to educate the people in Allen and surrounding areas about natural gardening practices and the benefits of gardening, encouraging people to conserve our natural resources and exemplify public spirit by participation in community service projects. They are a member of Texas Garden Clubs, Inc. and National Garden Clubs, Inc. with monthly programs on specific plants, trees, landscape design, perennials, houseplants, organic gardening, and much more.

Keep Allen Beautiful
While Keep Allen Beautiful functions as a designated City board, it offers a variety of volunteer involvement programs such as Adopt A Highway, Adopt A Waterway and Adopt A Spot. Annual clean up events for these programs occur in April and November and are open to involvement by individuals, civic clubs, church groups, school classes, and families. Collin County Master Gardeners 
Collin County Master Gardeners are an educational service organization of volunteers trained in horticulture, landscaping, soil improvement, water conservation and many other subjects of importance to Texas gardeners. CCMG is affiliated with the Texas AgriLife Extension Service of the Texas A&M University system.

Water Conservation Opportunities
The City of Allen has enhanced its water conservation efforts with numerous opportunities for public outreach and education, rebate offers and more.
