Service Rates & Penalty Fees

The City of Allen has established rates for utilities based on the cost of providing the services. Water and sewer rate changes for some service categories went into effect February 1, 2013.
Residential Service Rates
Utility Billing
- Deposit
- Upon second cut off per year, customers are assessed an additional deposit of $50 each time they are cut off for non-payment of their utility bill.

Charges for Outdoor Trash Enclosures With Sanitary Sewer Drains
a) Single Enclosure approximately ten (10) feet by ten (10) feet in size - Nine dollars ($9.00) per
month.
b) Double Enclosure approximately ten (10) feet by twenty (20) feet in size - Eighteen dollars
($18.00) per month.
c) Roll-Off Compactor container enclosure - Sixteen dollars and twenty cents ($16.20) per month.
d) Enclosures of varying sizes charged at a rate of nine cents ($0.09) per square foot of enclosure
space per month.
Note: Commercial waste services rates are set by separate rate resolution.
