1. How do I get a copy of my accident report?

A request can be made in person (M-F 8-5) by visiting the Allen Police Department Headquarters building. There is a $6.00 fee (cash, check or money order only) required for each accident report. Cash payment must be in exact change. A written request can be made by mailing a request, fee and self addressed stamped envelope to:

2. How do I get a copy of an offense report?

A written open records request must be made to the Allen Police Department. There is no fee charged for the first ten (10) pages of an offense reports [$.10 per page after ten (10)]. 3. Do I need to register my home alarm?

Yes. You may appear in person at the police department or print and complete the online alarm registration form (.pdf) and mail it in with the registration fee. There is a $50 annual fee for alarm registration. Payment can be made with cash, check or money order only. Cash payment must be in exact change.
