Competitive Sealed Bids addressed to the City of Allen (Owner) will be received in the office of the Purchasing Manager, Second Floor, Allen Civic Plaza, 305 Century Parkway, Allen, Texas 75013 (City Hall) until 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 16, 2010. No late bids will be accepted for the following project:

Immediately following, all bids will be opened and read aloud in the Council Conference Room, 1st floor City Hall.

A Pre-Proposal Conference will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 10:00 AM in the Engineering Large Conference Room, First Floor, City Hall.

Specifications and bid documents may be accessed through the City of Allen’s electronic bidding system. Please use this system to register as a supplier and to access this bid document. After registration approval, electronic notifications will be sent to registered suppliers on current bidding opportunities. No late bids will be accepted for the following project:

CITY OF ALLEN POLICE DEPARTMENT HVAC PROJECT

Immediately following, all proposals will be opened and read aloud in the Council Conference Room, 1st floor of City Hall.

A Pre-Proposal Conference will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 10:00 AM in the Council Chambers, First Floor, City Hall.

Bid documents consist of the Drawings and Specifications contained in the Project Manual. Interested General Contractors may purchase sets of the Contract Document directly from Gill Reprographics at any of the following locations: 15058 Belt Way Drive, Suite 110, Addison, TX 75001, Phone (214) 217-4800; 1451 Empire Central, Suite 600, Dallas, TX 75247, Phone (214) 267-0243; or 650 West Vickery, Suite 155, Fort Worth, TX 76104, Phone (817) 529-3900. Full sets of Contract Documents along with a CD containing digital images of the Construction Documents shall be purchased with a check in the amount of $75 per set, made payable to Gill Reprographics’ (www.gillrepro.com). A CD containing digital images may be obtained from Quorum Architects, Inc. for $20.
