Subcontractor Competitive Sealed Proposals for multiple bid packages, including Landscape/Irrigation, Earthwork, Site Utilities, Unit Paving, Concrete, Masonry, Structural Steel, Tempered Glass Railings, Architectural Woodwork, Site Woodwork, Membrane Roofing, Fireproofing, Moisture Protection, Doors/Frames/Hardware, Overhead Doors, Aluminum Doors and Windows, Drywall and Acoustical, Ceramic and Stone Tile, Plaster, Floor Covering, Wood Flooring, Painting, Signage, Toilet Partitions and Accessories, Wall Louvers, Loading Dock Equipment, Theater and Stage Equipment, Blinds and Shades, Audience Seating, Water Features, Elevators and Wheelchair Lifts, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Electrical will be received by the Construction Manager at Risk, HUNT CONSTRUCTION GROUP, INC., until 2:00 PM (local time) on Wednesday, DECEMBER 9, 2009. Bids received after 2:00 PM will be rejected.
Bids, in sealed envelopes, may be mailed or hand delivered to the Construction Manager's office at 4099 McEwen, Suite 400, Dallas, TX 75244 or faxed to the Construction Manager's office at 972 788-1302. A pre-bid meeting will be held on November 17, 2009 in the City of Allen, Council Conference Meeting Room from 1- 3 PM at 305 Century Pkwy,. Allen, TX 75013.
The Project will consist of development of Phase 1 of a multiphase project which includes 52 acres of a 100+ acre site and construction of a new 116,000 square foot Performing Arts HallThe building will include a 2,100 seat multipurpose theatre back of house support spaces and front of house community spaces. The exterior development consists of a central pond, outdoor stage, event lawn and scenic pathways. The Project Site is located in the City of Allen adjacent to Sam Rayburn Tollway and east of Custer Road.
Note that the Construction Manager and trade contractors must comply with all Federal, State, and Local Labor Laws. All project participants must make a good-faith effort to meet or exceed the applicable goal for HUB participation (including 2nd tier), and must comply with the Minimum Wage Rate Determination bound in the project manual. Hunt Construction Group, Inc. is an EOE and encourages M/V/WBE participation. Submission of a proposal acknowledges the right of the Owner or Construction Manager to reject any or all Proposals and to waive any informality or irregularity in any Proposals received. Subcontracts will be awarded based on the “best value” to the Owner using evaluation criteria bound in Hunt’s Proposal Manual.

Bid documents may also be reviewed at Construction Manager’s office at the address noted above. Bid Documents may be purchased for a $400 refundable deposit by contacting Ricoh Professional Services at 972.423.7444. Checks should be made payable to the Arts of Collin County Commission. Sealed bids addressed to the City of Allen (Owner) will be received at the office of the Purchasing Manager, Second Floor, Allen Civic Plaza, 305 Century Parkway, Allen, Texas 75013 (City Hall) until 3:00 PM on Friday, November 20, 2009. No late bids will be accepted for the following project:

Promptly thereafter, all Bids that have been duly received will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Council Conference Room, First Floor, City Hall.
A Pre-Bid Conference will be held for the above project in the Engineering Large Conference Room, First Floor, City Hall, at 3:00 PM on Thursday, November 12, 2009.
