The Crime Scene Unit is currently composed of two criminalists who reconstruct and process crime scenes in an effort to establish a possible sequence of events involved in a crime.
Various techniques are employed for identifying and locating evidence such as photography and videotaping, blood spatter and bullet trajectory methods, latent fingerprint analysis, as well as footwear and tire tread examination. In addition, the criminalists will testify in court.
