This is a $45 million multiphase project which is partially funded with the City of Allen 2007 GO Bond propositions. This roadway will be a 6-lane divided arterial. The City of Allen is starting to advance design on various segments and identify funding partner for construction.

Ridgeview Drive Phases:

US 75 Interchange - Construction anticipated to begin Fall 2009 if supported by economic development project.

US 75 to Stacy Road - Engineering and land acquisition in 2008 and 2009. No formal construction schedule because construction funding has not been identified.

US75

(Spring Creek Pkwy to Collin County Line)

Planning continues on this important roadway segment as the communities of Allen, Anna, Melissa, Fairview, McKinney and Plano look towards the ultimate improvement of this roadway, with 8 main lanes and HOV lanes. Currently we are looking at ways to phase the project with HOV lane being added from IH635 to Exchange Parkway in 2007 and additional capacity improvements being phased in over the next 5 to 10 years depending on funding.
