Commercial Solid Waste Collection

The City of Allen’s contracted service provider for commercial solid waste services is Community Waste Disposal, Inc., (CWD). Commercial businesses are required to use CWD’s commercial hauling services. This also includes all temporary roll-off open top construction containers.

Service Guidelines

The City is the sole provider of all solid waste collection, including commercial waste and construction waste that use temporary roll-off open top construction containers. The City contracts, through a franchise agreement, with a company to provide solid waste services. Therefore, a company must obtain a franchise agreement to operate within the City of Allen. Vehicles transporting refuse shall be covered to prevent the escape of any trash or refuse. All solid waste collected in the City of Allen is required to be disposed of at the North Texas Municipal Water District landfill.
