Building & Code Compliance

The Building Inspections and Code Compliance Department monitors compliance with the City of Allen's building codes and ordinances.  They strive to promote excellent daily customer service for the general public. They conduct building and facility inspections on newly constructed buildings to make sure that they are safe and suitable for occupancy. The department also has the task of performing health inspections at restaurants and handling environmental concerns.  They value their ability as a team to provide the City of Allen with an exceptional degree of courteous, timely, and knowledgeable assistance.
