Clear out your closets, clean up your yard and participate in Allen's biggest cleanup day! Residents can donate, recycle and dump nearly anything at one of our designated stations. Now held at a convenient location at Allen City Hall and Butler Drive, cleanup is easier than ever! Accepted items include clean and flattened cardboard; household trash and bulky items; yard waste; household appliances and other metal items (Freon removed); televisions and other electronics; furniture, household goods, bicycles, eyeglasses, cell phones, durable medical equipment, and pet products. Also accepted: documents for shredding and medications for disposal. See flyer for full list and drop-off locations.

Enjoy the exotic sounds of Javier Gutierrez and his Latin jazz band Mosaic. Entertaining the Dallas-Ft Worth area for over fifteen years, the ensemble performs Latin jazz standards with an infusion of Afro-Cuban and Brazilian rhythms and styles.

Color and creativity best describe Marie Renfro's paintings in oil or acrylic. A very versatile artist, Marie enjoys using various media to express her emotional response to a subject. Her work has received numerous outstanding awards and is included in major collections. She holds a Master of Fine Arts Degree from Texas Woman's University in Denton and has studied in several European countries.
Exhibited artwork can be purchased at the gallery, along with books by Amanda Dunbar and Jaqcueline Woodson.
